“Militarization of IP”  really coins a phrase for how IP in the US has evolved.\ \ How many stories do you hear about some big silicon valley company building a IP warchest to defend against lawsuits?  Or a company buying up IP rights with no product being produced (ie IP trolls) and suing companies?\ \ It feels the “spirit” of what IP was supposed to be used for in the US has been abused as a way to stifle competition and provide consumers with less choice.  Watching how Shenzhen tries to evolve faster then their competitors when IP issues comes about seems to be a better free market alternate then constant IP lawsuit battles.
