The author lays blame on “Never invent Here” culture on the agile methodology, which I believe is misplaced.\ \ I believe there is a push in the software industry to consider pre-built components versus building your own even outside of Agile projects. Agile makes it harder  to hide your work will daily stand-ups and two week sprints which forces developers to explain and sell their ideas.  No more programmers hiding away in their office for month to later emerge with a new component.\ \ #softwaredevelopment{.ot-hashtag .bidi_isolate}\ #agile{.ot-hashtag .bidi_isolate}

He’s just anti-agile in general…really not the issue. When an ecosystem has been around a long time, there are a lot of assets out there to consider. The issue I have is the mind-bending popularity of some of the awful ones.
