How long until a majority of Banks decided to update their consumer agreements like this?  While I agree Banks have a right to recover their money, I expect a long term backlash.\ \ Future generations “might” choose to live without Credit Cards after watching their parents deal with increasingly hostile bank practices.

Originally shared by Los Angeles Times{.reshare-attribution}A contract update recently sent by credit card issuer Capital One to its customers specifies that “we may contact you in any manner we choose” and that such contacts can include calls, emails, texts, faxes or a “personal visit.”\ \ “The police need a court order to pull off something like that,” consumer columnist [[+]{.proflinkPrefix}David Lazarus{.proflink .bidi_isolate}]{.proflinkWrapper} writes. “But Cap One says it has the right to get up close and personal anytime, anywhere.”\ \ #privacy{.ot-hashtag .bidi_isolate}   #credit{.ot-hashtag .bidi_isolate}  {.link-embed}

Capital One says it can show up at cardholders’ homes, workplaces
