The linked article of interview questions seem to be a wishful hope that today’s workers have a short term memory on the reality of the corporate world has caught us over the last few decades.\ \ I have been working professionally for 15 years and have seen multiple instances where companies say they care about workers, but treated as disposable no matter what the glossy company line may be. \ \ Things I have learned.\ \ 1) Think of every job as temporary, never expect the current project to last more then two to three years \ \ 2) Always focus on marketability of your skills first, if your employer is using antiquated tool sets and are resistant to change, then it’s a good time to move on.\ \ 3) Always focus on the money, one thing the dot com bust taught me is vague promises of future payoffs (ie. golden handcuffs) are nice, but who knows what will happen to company X in the future
