I Found This Article To Be Intriguing,

I found this article to be intriguing, there was nothing I would argue about in the author’s five misconceptions.   \ \ One of the comments to the article surprised me though, and I was hoping someone out there would tell me if its true.  Is this because of the pressure of standardize testing that cramp more material but less depth?\ \ Are kids skipping algebra in the ninth grade to go directly into geometry ?

in my ninth grade math was a combined algebra, geometry, trig - not going deeply into any one area and if you didn’t “get it’ you were encouraged to look elsewhere to other courses…
